In 1988, the original logo for Minitab® Statistical Software introduced the greater-than-sign, a symbol drawn from the command prompt “MTB >” that appeared in the first release of the software.
Over the years, this symbol has grown to represent more than the software itself and has become Minitab’s defining mark.
Today, the greater-than-sign represents both the company and its status as the leading provider of software for quality improvement and statistics education, with Minitab Statistical Software, Quality Companion, and Quality Trainer.
